Big Fish Bag

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish... a multi-coloured fishy beach bag big enough to store everything and then some! Towels, clothes, sunscreen, the lot. I use it as my 'going to the pool' bag with the boys. The bag can be created with any multi coloured fabric, or use only blues for a completely different look. The Odyssea Moda range was used to create this sample.

The pattern explains how to create the inner drawstring panels, which make sure all the things you've stuffed inside don't  fall out again! The back of the back features the same multi-coloured fabrics in a patchwork arrangement. The bag is not as rigid as the photo shows; it's a bit more floppy.

If the bag looks too adventurous, you can always convert the fish applique designs to a cot quilt top... I'm going to, when I get the other 234 patterns Duncan has dreamed up completed!
