Green Shopping Bag

Duncan hates those recycled green shopping bags. I always forget to take mine when I'm doing the grocery shopping. So we've made our own version, matching the design and size as closely as we can, but with an important improvement! There's a handy stitched shopping list to jog my memory, especially when it comes to chocolate. 

The panel was traced, then I used a green colour pencil to shade areas. When finished, I painted over the top with textile medium, to seal the colour, gave it an iron and completed the green stitching over the top. The colouring is easy to do, as you're only using one shade- and you don't have to worry if the colour spreads a little- it adds to the charm!
